Everyone. What began in 2008 as a rescue mission for U.S. military service members and veterans is now open to first responders, civilian men, civilian women, and pastors & ministry leaders — with Drop Zone Events available for entire churches. Whatever road brought you here, there's a track for you.

And no — you don't have to be a Christian to come. You just have to be willing to open your heart, even a little.

Nothing. Drop Zone programs are 100% donor funded, so there is no charge to attend. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the program.

Yes. We have locations that are easy to navigate and offer wheelchair accessibility. If you have specific accessibility needs, just let us know during the registration process and we'll work with you.

No. The Drop Zone is not equipped to serve those currently battling regular substance abuse or addiction. Because of the intensive nature of the program, we ask for six months of sobriety prior to arrival, and we recommend seeking a substance abuse program and/or counselor to help you get there.

Please hear this: that is not a closed door. Do that work, and the Drop Zone will be here — ready to help you heal the wounds underneath.

We understand — when someone you love is hurting, you want to do something. But healing can't be pressured. It matters that every applicant registers for themselves, on their own accord, with no outside pressure to attend.

The best thing you can do is point them to this website — the Stories page is a great place to start — and let them make the decision for themselves.

Yes! Our military track is open to ALL service members and veterans regardless of branch, MOS, rank, or experience — you don't need a combat deployment to carry real wounds. And if you never wore a uniform, our men's, women's, and church tracks were built for you.

Wounds of the heart don't check your résumé. Nobody gets far in this life without taking some hits — and there is healing for every one of them.

Registration is the first step. Once you've registered, someone from the ORW team will personally reach out and walk you through the rest of the process. Because of the demand for our programs, you may be placed on a short waiting list after your registration is complete — but you won't be forgotten, and your healing is worth the wait.

The Drop Zone works because every participant is free to focus completely on their own healing. With so many waiting to attend, we're unable to place friends or family members in the same program together.

The exception: Drop Zone Events for churches are designed for groups — men's ministries, women's ministries, or entire congregations experiencing healing side by side.
