OUR TEAM

Operation Restored Warrior is a spiritual Special Ops unit that deploys to RESCUE, REBUILD, and RESTORE.

Originally consisting exclusively of military and first responders, our team now includes spiritual warriors from all walks of life who are devoted to Jesus' mission of healing the brokenhearted and bringing freedom to the prisoners.

JOHN WILLIAMS - President

Rev. John C. Williams, CWO4, USCG (Ret) has been devoted to the mission of ORW since attending his own Drop Zone. During his time as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer, he continually struggled with PTSD resulting from recovery missions.  While serving as a Criminal Investigator many of the investigations opened wounds from his childhood which he was unable to address on his own.  He reached a breaking point after years of suppressing these scars out of fear and having suicidal thoughts while dealing with the aftermath of active duty members taking their own lives.  At his own Drop Zone, John encountered Jesus’ healing and restoration in a very profound way - and he now works to bring that restoration to others.

Daniel Strong - Vice President

Daniel Strong, SSgt, USMC (Ret.), M.Div., is a retired United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant, infantryman, and educator, Daniel spent 17 years teaching and mentoring young people through the Marine Corps Junior ROTC program. He completed multiple combat deployments in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, earning numerous commendations, including recognition for valor and the Purple Heart. After being wounded by an IED during his final deployment in 2008, Daniel spent eighteen months recovering before being medically retired from the Marine Corps.Following his service, Daniel faced some of his most difficult battles through PTSD and chronic physical pain. At the end of his rope, he reached out to a former platoon sergeant who had recently attended an ORW Drop Zone. Hearing the freedom and renewed hope in his friend’s voice convinced Daniel to attend. At the Drop Zone, Daniel encountered the healing and restoration of Jesus Christ in a life-changing way.

Today, Daniel brings his combat leadership, ministry education, pastoral experience, years as an educator, and service as an ORW facilitator to the organization’s executive leadership team. He is committed to strengthening ORW’s mission and helping fellow warriors experience the same freedom, healing, and restoration he found in Jesus.

JORDAN FULTON -  Director of Operations, Drop Zone Lead

Rev. Jordan Fulton, SGT, US Army, (Ret), MSc attended a Drop Zone to rekindle a relationship with Jesus and his wife after realizing how emotionally withdrawn and distant he had become. Diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, he realized that medication could not fix these problems. Through his encounter with Jesus at the Drop Zone, his heart was restored and healed in some deep places - and he has not looked back. Jordan is married to an amazing woman, Sarah, who is his partner in raising their 5 kids together. Jordan has a passion for family, fitness, and single-origin coffee. He is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute & College with a diploma in Pastoral Ministry and is ordained through Elim Fellowship.

Mike Daley - Director of Drop Zone Administration

Mike Daley, SgtMaj, USMC, (Ret.), has deployed for multiple combat tours. As a result of PTSD, friends who were KIA, a divorce and separation from his children, escapism and alcoholism set in, leading to depression and suicidal thoughts. Mike reluctantly agreed to attend a Drop Zone in 2018 -  and all the hurts of the past were vaporized and healed because his heart was pierced by the Lord like never before! Additionally, the restoration of Mike’s heart led to an amazing, God anointed marriage to his wife, Sarah who is a retired United States Marine First Sergeant, an ORW Alumni and a women’s program facilitator for ORW.

Shane Sooter - Creative Director

Shane Sooter is a storyteller and filmmaker who has spent over two decades creating Christian television, producing more than 20 original series and two feature films. Today, he uses those skills to help share the vision of Operation Restored Warrior and invite others into its story of healing and restoration.

Shane was first introduced to ORW while filming a reality series and later returned to document the ministry more deeply. But it was his own Drop Zone experience that changed everything. There, he encountered Jesus in a way that transcended his theology, and experienced the miraculous for the first time.

Shane serves alongside his wife, Cassie, and together they are the proud parents of 11 children and two grandchildren. He is passionate about helping others discover that same freedom and restoration through a real relationship with Jesus.

Sarah Daley - Drop Zone Facilitator

Sarah retired in 2015 as a First Sergeant after twenty years in the Marine Corps, with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, & Okinawa.  Her Drop Zone was a pivotal moment in her life and healing journey. After years of identity struggles, combat stress, trauma, isolation, and unhealthy patterns, she experienced deep spiritual healing and a renewed identity in Jesus.  Her experience ignited a strong passion in her heart to serve women veterans and first responders.

She is the founder of Sarah Jane’s Art Studio, a creative space rooted in faith and restoration for her community. With her husband Mike, she faithfully serves in her church & community.  She is the mother of Connor, who is also a Marine, and the mother-in-law of Juliana and the stepmother of Mike’s adult children, Chase and Abby.

MIKE ELROD -  Drop Zone Facilitator

Mike is a retired military aviator with 28 years collectively in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Navy Reserve, with service to Pacific, Asian, and European theatres, and support in Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Mike also retired with 21 years of service as a Captain at Northwest Airlines

The events and experiences Mike faced during his military career resulted in nightmares that lasted 35 years. His PTSD symptoms included significant anxiety and anger, but his life was completely transformed in five days at his Drop Zone - for the first time in decades, Mike got a good night's sleep! He is now walking as a restored warrior. Mike has a profound heart for his family and desires to help other veterans receive the same freedom Jesus gave him.

Elizabeth Harding - Drop Zone Facilitator

When Elizabeth’s husband returned from combat deployment in the army with depression, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, and explosive anger, her heart endured a lot of pain, shutting down her own dreams & desires. Little did Elizabeth know what God would do for her husband at his Drop Zone; He would do the same for her.

At her own Drop Zone, Elizabeth’s heart came alive. She has since seen healing in her marriage, her relationship with with her daughters, and with Jesus. The restoration Jesus did in her heart even gave her the strength to do battle against breast cancer in 2024.  She is the mother of three daughters, including an Army National Guard veteran, and a grandmother (Omie) to a grandson. Her heart is for women to receive the same healing and restoration Jesus gave to her.

Mark Patrick - Drop Zone Facilitator

Mark Patrick spent much of his life caught in a cycle of addiction, rough living, and instability that followed him for years. Later in life, Mark faced the devastating loss of his adult son in a vehicle accident—an event that brought him to the end of himself. It was at his Drop Zone that Mark encountered the love and power of Jesus in a way he never had before. In that moment, the deep wounds of his past, the weight of grief, and years of striving were met with true healing and freedom.

A gifted sculptor, Mark has created works for churches and organizations across the country, including pieces for Harley-Davidson and large-scale biblical installations. Today, Mark walks in freedom and carries a deep passion to see other men restored—no matter how far gone their story may seem.

Sharon Patrick

Sharon Patrick - Drop Zone Facilitator

Sharon came on board with Operation Restored Warrior as a Drop Zone facilitator, joining her husband Mark, who also serves as an ORW facilitator. She carries a deep passion to bring others closer to Jesus — as a writer, author, and preacher, and by crossing the globe on mission trips. Sharon is also a former teacher with Charis Bible College in Colorado.

In 2010, her world was shattered when her son Levi died suddenly in a car accident. Brokenhearted, Sharon found Jesus again — true to His promise that the Spirit of the Lord had sent Him "to heal the brokenhearted." Out of that healing, He gave her a passion for the brokenhearted of her own. Today Sharon and Mark reside in South Carolina near their daughter Sasha and her family. A fun fact: Sharon has ridden her own Harley-Davidson touring the country alongside her husband, and she loves people, travel, and the great outdoors.

Since a life-changing mission trip to Ghana in 1993, Kim has carried a passion to share biblical truth around the world, traveling to places like India, Israel, Egypt, Vietnam, and Cambodia. She later served as Executive Director of a crisis pregnancy center before retiring in 2021.
